Senator Blumenthal Visits Cure Rare Disease

September 5, 2023 – Senator Richard Blumenthal visited Cure Rare Disease’s lab space in Woodbridge, CT to see the impact of the designated federal grant on the renovations.  Senator Blumenthal’s support helped CRD secure the critical funding for the renovation project which will help advance CRD’s research programs and provide additional infrastructure for the ever-expanding life sciences industry in CT.

The 30,000 SF facility, designed by Svigals + Partners, will be used, in part, by CRD researchers to test and optimize therapeutics before proceeding to in vivo testing, and will also allow for increased capacity of research & development efforts.
