Brady Memorial Laboratory - Yale School of Medicine

LEED Platinum Laboratory Renovation (New Haven, Connecticut)

The Yale School of Medicine has a beginning that dates back to the early 1800s with many campus facilities supporting the school. Brady Memorial Laboratory (BML) is one such facility that was originally built in 1916 and has gone through many interior renovations over the years. After the renovation in 2012, BML was noted an award-winning multi-floor renovation being the first laboratory renovation project at Yale and in Connecticut to be constructed under the strict guidelines for LEED Platinum Certification for Commercial Interiors. The challenge was met by Tate + Burns Architects; R G Vanderweil Engineers; LEED Consultant: Sage Design and Consulting (Michele Helou); and Babbidge Construction Company, performing the construction management services. 205 Whitney Avenue, New Haven, Connecticut 203.562.5559
